Moringa Day nursery will:
Cindy is the owner of Moringa Day Nursery. A mum herself, Cindy is passionate about Montessori learning and creating a home from home environment for the children.
Cindy studied Montessori in her twenties and since then has worked in and out of the nursery environment, running and managing small nurseries in South Africa. It has been her lifelong dream to have her own nursery.
It's her mission to take care of every part of the children in her care, supporting not just them but the whole family.
Cindy strives to make Moringa a homely, comfortable environment, where the children feel at ease and ready to learn. It is important to her that the children are happy to come and enjoy their time at Moringa.
The name Moringa comes from the Moringa tree which means miracle tree. Not only does it refer to the miracle of young children's development, it also has a personal meaning as Cindy's dad grows the trees in Spain and has been a valuable support in achieving her dream.
Anna is the manager at Moringa Day Nursery. She has worked in education for over 20 years in a variety of capacities including two years in Uganda where she worked children from 3-18 with various communication difficulties and on the Autistic Spectrum.
Anna is mum to a 9 year old boy and Apricot the hamster and enjoys long walks, cycle rides and playing video games!
Anna and Cindy met in 2017 and soon started talking about building a nursery where children could grow and learn in a safe environment where they could be free to develop at their own pace despite any differences they may have.
In 2019 the dream came true and since then Anna and Cindy have nurtured and developed Moringa Day Nursery.
Anna says: "Moringa is a small nursery with the capacity to do amazing things. We all work very closely together to ensure the best care and attention is given to support our children in their development. We are a family...the Moringa Family."
